Srijan is an Associate Solicitor in the residential real estate team at CDS Mayfair. Srijan studied law at Warwick University and University College London before training and subsequently practicing at a large City law firm, as well as another large national firm, before moving to CDS Mayfair in February 2025.
Specializing in all aspects of transactional residential property work, Srijan has particular experience in handling high-value and complex transactions, often involving properties in Prime Central London and requiring an exchange of contracts and completion within very short timescales. His work also includes advising on and providing support for transactions driven by other legal teams but involving a residential property element, such as mixed-use developments and large-scale portfolio refinances.
In addition to acting for buyers, sellers, and landlords, Srijan has worked with various lenders, both domestic and international, including those involved in conventional and Shariah-compliant lending. He has collaborated closely with specialist tax and banking lawyers in reviewing and advising on related documents, as well as handling property conditions precedent. Previously, he has also supported family and litigation lawyers in drafting the property elements of court orders and settlement agreements.
